Two Children Hit by Car At 15th Avenue SE and University Drive SE in St. Cloud Wednesday
Two children were hit by a car Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of 15th Avenue SE and University Drive SE in St. Cloud. Both sustained serious injuries while crossing in a marked crosswalk. The driver was cited for failing to yield. Two children, ages six and 10, were hit by a car at 15th Avenue SE and University Drive SE in St. Cloud on Wednesday afternoon. The children were crossing in a crosswalk when the car hit them. The six-year-old child was flown to Children's Hospital via air ambulance, the 10-year old child was transported to Children’s Hospital. The adult pedestrian was not transported. The driver of the car, 56-yearold Nancy Thelen, was cited for failure to yield to a pedestrian in a pedestrian's crosswalk.
