The Green Thumb Etc. in downtown St. Cloud, Minn. has expanded in merchandise and personnel since its start six years ago. Ashley Green, who started the business with her husband, Jesse Formanek, has added metal sculpture and custom designed mugs, T-shirts, and home-harvested honey from their hives. Formanak was brought on as CFO for the company about eight months ago, previously selling property and casualty insurance. Green managed the store's taxes and business expenses, but it was hard to let go. The business is set to grand opening in 2019. Formenek hopes to continue expanding with more art at the upcoming Millstream Art Festival.
