Stillwater: Work on Lift Bridge delayed because of delivery issues
Crews now are expected to start work in late November. A $2.4 million construction project on the Stillwater Lift Bridge in Stillwater, Minnesota, has been delayed for at least a month due to delivery issues. Crews are expected to replace the bridge's festoon electrical cable and drive motor, along with its steel platforms, ladders and railings, in late November. The project is still expected to be complete by mid-May. Walkers and bikers will be able to use the St. Croix River Bridge Loop Trail throughout the winter, but access will be limited once the work begins.
