Investigators say A 79-year-old Minnesota woman, Gail Mattson, has reportedly died after an elephant attacked a safari vehicle in Zambia. The attack occurred at a national park in Zambian. The driver of the vehicle was unable to get out of the way when the elephant charged unexpectedly and the driver of that vehicle was hit by the animal. Mattsons was transported to a hospital in South Africa and died after being taken to a local hospital.
