Seven Twin Cities metro festivals to visit this weekend
Elder emos, unite at Insight Brewing's "Wort Tour." The weekend activities include seven Twin Cities metro festivals, including the Rum River Festival in Princeton, Minneapolis, and The Big Bounce America in Shakopee. The festival will also feature music from local punk, rock and ska bands, a pop-up skate park with open skating, a barrel jumping contest, themed flash tattoos, a vendor market, a limited-edition charity beer, and more. A portion of proceeds from beer sales, raffles, and auctions will be donated to youth skating charity Co-Vert. Tickets to The Big bounce America include access to the 24,000-square-foot bounce house, a 900-foot-long obstacle course, a "deep sea foam party inflatable" and more for $22-$48 depending on age. Celebrate National Rosé Day at Rosé Fest in downtown St. Paul on Saturday, with general admission including 10 wine samples or VIP for unlimited samples and small bites from Revival. The west metro festivals include Delano's Sculpture and Blues Festival, Golden Valley's Pride celebration, and Chalkfest in Maple Grove, with sidewalk chalk art from over 50 artists covering Main Street.
