Timberwolves’ Anthony Edwards fires NSFW shot at Heat player who ‘crunk me up’
Anthony Edwards reveals a heated exchange with an unnamed Heat bench player after leading the Timberwolves to a season-opening win. The Minnesota Timberwolves won their season opener against the Miami Heat, with a 131-106 victory. Despite the win, Timberwolves superstar Anthony Edwards expressed frustration after the game due to a heated exchange with a Heat bench player. Edwards revealed that a Miami reserve had been talking trash during the game, which fueled his performance. He finished with 45 points on 16-of-29 shooting, including nine-of'-17 from three-point range. This performance made him one of several players credited with recording at least 45 points and 10 rebounds in a season opener. Despite Giannis Antetokounmpo scoring 35 points, the Heat suffered a disappointing defeat. The Timberwolves will next face the Orlando Magic on Friday.
